make the Animoid move!
Upload files for Competition Entry
In the future there will probably be lots of reasons you want to upload files
to animoids.com. But for now, the main reason is to enter Competitions.
For details on the latest Competitions check
online.
Once you are ready to upload a file, open the file for editing then click on
the upload menu item or the upload button:
The upload dialog will then appear to lead you through the upload process:
Press Next >>> to go to the check profile form:
We don't allow you to upload unless we have a way to contact you. The only field that we need
populated is your Contact Email Address. I.e. other ANIMOIDS users may
not know who you are, but ANIMOIDS support staff needs to know before we will
publish your data.
The next form is a license agreement that describes how other Animoids users can
use your work.
If you agree, click ACCEPT, otherwise cancel the upload.
If you agree, you'll see:
At this point we have done tasks like include any required images or texture objects
with your Animoid. (When you work on an Animoid locally, the texture objects and images
are normally separate from the Animoid. For upload, we need to put everything together.)
Click UPLOAD to send your work to the online server. Once complete, you'll see:
Click Cancel or Done to close the dialog.
You might want to go to the Online Gallery to
look at the files you have uploaded.
An uploaded file won't be immediately visible to other ANIMOIDS users, but you'll
(soon) be able to immedialely see your own uploads.
