You should click the Install Java Media framework button as normal and proceed with the update. However, the update itself will probably fail with a permission denied error.

If the "permission denined" error occurs, you'll need to manually copy the jmf.jar file from the Animoids folder into your system library. That procedure is described below.

• Find the JMF_2_1_1_mac.zip file that was downloaded by Smart Update. It's normally at:

  /Applications/Animoids/data/temp/JMF_2_1_1_mac.zip

• Double click on this file to expand it into file jmf.jar. The expanded file should normally be at:

  /Applications/Animoids/data/temp/jmf.jar

• Manually move this jmf.jar file to the

  /Library/Java/Extensions/

  folder.

• Restart ANIMOIDS and the Java Media Framework should get recognized correctly.
